Basmati Rice MUST be used with this recipe
Put some Water in a large pan.
Add the Stock Cube, Bay Leaves, Cassia Bark and Cardamom Pods to the
Water.
Add the Turmeric Powder, bring to the boil and add the Basmati Rice and
Peas.
Cook for 10 minutes stirring occasionally
Now drain and remove the Bay leaves and Cassia Bark.
Add the Cardamom pods to the Rice and discard the Husks.
Scramble the Egg and fry in a little Oil and when cooked break into
little pieces and add the sliced Mushrooms.
Finally, stir in the Rice and Peas and serve. |
